Whirlpool is proving to be as awful as D&G
Not only should you avoid a Domestic & General extended warranty but avoid Whirlpool appliances altogether

Imagine having to throw out $100 worth of refrigerate-after-opening and frozen food because your extended warranty company informed you that your new fridge would arrive on the same day you gave away your old fridge. Only it never arrived.
Now imagine you’ve been on the phone for three hours trying to figure out what happened and where’s the delivery guy.
Finally, imagine you filed a Better Business Bureau complaint after not getting clear answers, clear days and being transferred endless amounts of time to find out why D&G and Whirlpool have such poor communication — only for the Whirlpool rep managing BBB complaints to call your phone giggling and announcing that her birthdate is the same day you bought your refrigerator.
I wish I was kidding. I wish I was lying. I am not. I hung up before she could give me her horoscope. Cancers, you are better than this!
This has been my experience after buying a D&G extended warranty for a Whirlpool fridge that was deemed inoperable after only three years. Keep in mind standard model refrigerators usually last approximately 10-15 years.
The lesson I learned: Never work with D&G again. Never ever buy another Whirlpool appliance for the rest of my life.
